The Ball takes place in The Ex Chiesa di Santa Chiara Murano, one of the oldest structures on the island of Murano. This magical medieval church dates back to 1236 and is one of the most picturesque and magnificent settings in Venice. The beauty and magic of this ancient place will easily transport you back in time to another world!
How to Reach the Meeting Point
- Free Transfer
- Departure from Fondamente Nove at 7:10 pm (Dock A – stop to Burano).
- Return at 02:30 am to Fondamente Nove, Tre Archi or San Giuliano Park.
- Public Boat ACTV:
For people wishing to make their own way to the venue from Fondamente Nove you can catch the vaporetto public boat No. 4.1 – 4.2 in the direction of “Murano” and get off of the water bus at “Colonna”, the first stop on the island of Murano.
From the boat platform, follow the street that runs slightly to the right and turns inside of the island along the canal, this is Fondamenta dei Vetrai.
Cross the first bridge on the right, turn right at the foot of the bridge, go forward until you pass through the large metal gates and take the first street on the left. The Ex Chiesa di Santa Chiara will be on your left.
Dress Code
Masked historical venetian costume or elegant formal attire with a mask is required. Getting in costume is more fun and you can easily buy or rent venetian carnival costumes and masks. You can choose whichever style appeals to you, Venetians have been designing and wearing masks for hundreds of years, so you are spoilt for choice!

At the time of booking, please specify if you have any allergies or intolerances. The price for the Royal Dinner Ticket includes a private return taxi to/from Fondamente Nuove and Murano, which you must request at the time of booking.
The open bar only includes Prosecco and beer. Other alcoholic drinks can be purchased for €10. To take part in the event, you must present either a paper or an electronic voucher.
Cancellation Policy
There will be no refund in case of NO-SHOW (non-attendance). Contact the organiser prior to the event to request a refund.
